TOUCHING LOSS
Footage from Touching Loss at Acadiana Center for the Arts
Touching Loss is dance narrative that explores the cycle of loss and renewal of life. Sally, a dance therapist, leads her new group of patients through their grief using movement as the catalyst for their healing. This is a journey Sally has lead so many times before. But this time is different. This time it’s personal for her as well. Now, not only must Sally help her patients through their difficult time, but she must also walk through her own recent pain and loss. They will all have to help each other re-connect with life while honoring what was lost.

ABOUT THE PROCESS
