EVERYONE'S WAITING

Book and Lyrics by Leah Miles - Music by Donny Codden

Everyone’s Waiting is a folk-rock musical about the Starke family surviving the tragic accident of the family’s eldest child, 18 year-old Wesley. In addition to trying to cope with Wesley’s absence, each family member is also burdened with a secret about his death. The story’s protagonist, 16 year old Clayton, loses himself in the avatar video game he creates which gives his brother Wesley a virtual life. As the game wears on, the objectives become blurred for Clayton. He slowly loses the ability to know what is virtual and what is real and he desperately tries to hold on to Wesley at all costs. The family is thrust into action to save Clayton and in turn discover the path to saving themselves.
